Green Light: Let’s Get Going
1. Next week come in and share two examples of where you were highly effective in your performance, and the success you experienced because of it. 2. Next week come in and share 1 example of where your performance didn’t quite hit the mark, identify the barriers to why, and what steps you’re going to take to improve that area.
Yellow Light: Needs Attention
1. Knowing we need to improve our overall performance, next week come back with two specific examples of where you were highly effective in your performance, and the success you experienced because of it. Explain how your performance was so effective and what you did to achieve that. 2. Knowing that we need to increase our performance in a relatively quick time frame, come in next week and share 1 specific example of where your performance wasn’t as effective as you would’ve liked it to be or it should’ve been, and what barriers were keeping you from performing as well as you would’ve liked or should’ve. 3. What specific steps are you going to take moving forward to improve your performance? Write them down. 4. Write down ways to help remove or mitigate the barriers keeping you from being as highly performing as you’d like to be or should be.
Red Light: Needs Immediate Attention
1. Knowing we need to improve our overall performance in a really short time period, and that we’ve already been trying to work on this for some time, come in tomorrow with two specific examples where you were highly effective in your performance, and what success you experienced. Explain why your performance was so effective in those instances. 2. Tomorrow bring in 1 specific example where your performance missed the mark, and what specific actions you’re going to take in the immediate future to improve your performance very quickly. 3. Identify how we can help you remove barriers that you feel are keeping you from improving your performance. Write them down and bring them in to our next meeting tomorrow.
