Green Light: Let’s Get Going

1. When it comes to self-awareness it’s been estimated that 80 to 85% of people significantly lack self-awareness (Tasha Eurich). With this said, next week come in and share two words that would describe yourself as a teammate and 1 word your teammates would use to describe you. 2. Next week come in with 2 examples of where you were highly self-aware, demonstrating the characteristics you identified that would describe you as a teammate, and the success you experienced because of it. 3. Next week come in and share 1 example of where you honestly feel you could exhibit greater teamwork or more self-awareness. Where your actions or words impacted the team in not as positive as you would’ve hoped. Write down specific actions you can take moving forward to improve on that area.

Yellow Light: Needs Attention

1. Knowing we need to improve our self-awareness, and that self-awareness is the necessary first step in progress and improving ourselves, come in next week with 2 strengths you demonstrated recently of great teamwork and accurate self-awareness, and what success you experienced because of those. 2. Knowing we have a relatively short time period to improve on being more self-aware and showing great teamwork, come in next week with 1 area you honestly and truly feel you could exhibit great self-awareness and improve relatively quickly, and what steps you’re going to take to achieve that.

Red Light: Needs Immediate Attention

1. Knowing we need to become more self-aware in a really short time period, and we’ve already been trying to work on this for some time, come in tomorrow with two specific examples where you truly self-aware and positively engaged with the team, and what success you experienced because of it. 2. Bring in 1 example where you have an opportunity to improve on your self-awareness and the impact your actions and words have on the team, and what specific actions you’re going to take in the immediate future to improve that skill. 3. What barriers are currently keeping you from becoming more self-aware in a quick manner, and how can we help you remove or address those barriers?
