Engagement
Suggestions to Start
1. When you have terms like engagement, we advise to have a very specific definition of how your team or company defines engagement. The activity could be creating the definition on your team as well as asking each member to identify their specific strengths and opportunities to improve as it relates to your definition of engagement.
More Aggressive Suggestions
1. Observe and journal: Ask team members to observe one another and identify who represents positive engagement and who they should be proud of. At the end of each week have people send you a summation of who those people are and find creative ways to celebrate those individuals (positive reinforcement). When you acknowledge people through other people’s voices, it strengthens the fiber of the team.
