Metallic Backshells - Overview
Amphenol offers CMA 02 backshells for EMI shielding and environmental protection. The shielding is ensured by a Band-it TM around the braid termination. The knurling of the backshell is compatible either with micro-band or band. The environmental protection is ensured by a heat-shrink molded piece. The backshells are either plated with black zinc-nickel (BZN) over aluminum or are unplated stainless steel passivated & sandblasted.
