2 Fitness Tips From Tom Hiddleston

Actor Tom Hiddleston electrified the internet this summer with his performance in the new Marvel series “Loki” on Disney+, and there are even rumors he’ll be the next James Bond after Daniel Craig retires. But how does the actor keep up his lean, screen- perfect physique? SuperheroJacked.com recently spilled its best guess at Hiddleston’s workout routine. The suggested regimen leans heavily on weightlifting and jogging; you can check out the full routine by searching the article title, “Tom Hiddleston Workout Routine and Diet Plan: The Physique Behind Thor’s Brother Loki.” To put the plan together, Superhero Jacked’s founder did his research — and so did we. Here are two Hiddleston-approved fitness tips: Tip No. 1: Jog It Off It’s no secret that the Loki actor loves to jog. The paparazzi often catch him at it, and the hobbymakes sense for someonewith his body type. According to Runner’s World, jogging is a great cardio workout for kick-starting and maintaining weight loss. It also boosts your

mood, improves your sleep andmental acuity, and strengthens your immune system. So, it might even help Hiddlestonmake it to set and memorize his lines. Tip No. 2: Boogie on the Dance Floor In addition to jogging, Hiddleston loves to dance. “Anyone who’s known me for any length of time knows that I love dancing,” he told Vulture in 2016. “At a party I’ll be the first person on the dance floor and the last sweaty mess at the end of the night. I don’t even think I can dance particularly well. I just have always had great enthusiasm for it and enjoy it.” (Want to see proof? Check out the video “TomHiddleston and Benedict Cumberbatch Dance Off” on YouTube, which has racked up more than 1.2 million views.) Dancing is another great mental and physical workout. It requires balance, strength, and endurance, as well as the ability to memorize steps. If you want a body (and mind) like Loki’s, a good place to start could be in a group dance fitness class!

The Most Common Misconceptions After Being Arrested

DON’T MAKE THESE MISTAKES!

Should You Plead Guilty? I caution my clients that pleading guilty might not be in their best interests, and while I understand that they may regret their choices and may even believe they committed the crime, that is not the end of the story. To begin with, people are presumed innocent. The state must prove their case beyond a reasonable doubt —with legally admissible evidence. The question is if the government can prove it in a courtroom, beyond a reasonable doubt, to a unanimous jury of six people in a misdemeanor or twelve in a felony, with legally admissible evidence. Even if they feel like they are guilty and even if I believe the government can prove it, there will always be some questions about which punishment is correct, whether it should be a lesser punishment, or other mitigating factors that work to clients’ advantage. These complicated territories can be difficult to navigate alone.

Most people who undergo a first-time arrest are scared and nervous. They do not know what can help them or how the arrest will affect their reputation. If you’re experiencing your first arrest, you might think that you will go to jail, that there is no way to get the case dismissed, or — on the opposite end — that there is some magical way to get out of this. Some believe that if they were not read their rights, they will receive a “Get Out of Jail Free” card or an automatic dismissal. That may — or may not — be the case. It is not quite like TV, where a police officer does not read the person their rights and the case is automatically thrown out. If the person has been arrested and their rights are not read to them — but they are interrogated — then their answers might not be used against them since they were not warned of their right to remain silent. It does not mean that the case is automatically thrown out.

However, for them to have a case, the police must have evidence, and that brings us to the next point.
