Crafts in the Park Ages: 13+ years of age Discover nature-inspired crafts with local artisans at rotating park locations throughout Norfolk County. Location Class Day Dates Time Cost This two-day workshop with a Paddle Canada–certified instructor teaches beginner paddlers essential flatwater kayaking skills and safety. Participants will earn ORCKA Basic Kayak Levels A & B certification upon completion. Bring your own kayak or rent one. Ideal for building confidence on the water and starting your paddling journey. Location Day Dates Time Cost Waterford North Conservation Area Saturday - Sunday August 8, 9 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. $300.00 Kayak Basics Course – ORCKA Level A & B Certification Ages: 16+ years of age Everyone is welcome to play, move, and have fun at this inclusive, all-abilities program that offers a variety of sports and games with thoughtful adaptations for individuals living with cognitive or physical limitations. Participants are welcome to bring their own assistive devices and/or service animals. No additional charge for support persons. Location Day Time Cost Simcoe Recreation Centre, Multi-Purpose Floor Tuesdays 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. $5.25 per visit
