Featured Presentation: Responding to the Contamination of Drinking Water with PFAS (25) Michigan is ground zero for the emerging issue of PFAS contamination, which now has been shown to affect all eight states and both provinces in the Great Lakes and St. Lawrence River Region. During this session, GLLC members will hear from Liesl Eichler Clark , Director of the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy, about the potential and real harm caused by these “forever chemicals” – and what the state of Michigan is doing to address the problem.
