Chanhassen’s adaptive recreation program is a cooperative effort between the City of Chanhassen and Reach for Resources, an organization dedicated to providing programs designed for individuals with disabilities. Adaptive programming for adults runs throughout the year and includes sports leagues, art classes, special events, support groups and more. Inclusion support is provided at no cost to any child or adult participating in a Chanhassen Parks & Recreation program. Program Scholarships The City of Chanhassen offers a scholarship program that provides financial assistance to participants in our recreation programs. The program is available to Chanhassen residents of all ages. For program details or to apply for a scholarship, visit us at Chanhassen.info/Scholarship

Update on Chanhassen Bluffs Community Center The Chanhassen Bluffs Community Center continues to move forward with exciting momentum while staying on budget and true to the voter-approved vision. Design work is progressing, all amenities remain intact and new renderings and a virtual tour offer a fresh look at what’s ahead. Construction is anticipated to begin in 2026 and wrap up in 2028.

Carver County Library Storytimes Storytimes are an early literacy experience where we sing, play, write, talk and read together. Toddler storytimes are Mondays at 10:30 a.m. with pre-school storytimes at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Baby storytimes are Thursday at 10:30 a.m.

Winter Reads Winter Reads is a reading program for adults that runs through February 28, 2026. People can read or listen to books, write reviews and enter to win prizes. This year we will once again have a variety of online author visits.
