Introducing our awards speaker #CIPPAWARDS Currently in their 14th year, the CIPP’s Annual Excellence Awards are the longest running and only UK payroll awards, and as such are highly sought after and competitive.

The CIPP are pleased to announce our keynote speaker, Sir Trevor McDonald Sir Trevor McDonalds’ career in television spans almost five decades, working for a variety of broadcasters and taking him around the world, covering a number of significant points in recent history. In 1992 he became the first sole present of the News at Ten and had amased more awards than any other news broadcast in Britian; including a BAFTA, the Royal Television Society Gold Medal for his Outstanding Contribution to Television News (1998), the National Television Award for Outstanding Commitment to Television (2003) and the Royal Television Society’s Judges’ Award (2005). Sir Trevor was awarded the OBE in 1992 and was awarded a Knighthood in 1999.
