Software development hub CASCADE HR has launched a product management tool to support the ongoing evolution of its fully- integrated human resources (HR) and payroll software. The Change Lab ideas portal provides a hub for Cascade’s clients to share and vote on themes that will shape the product roadmap ahead. Every customer can submit ideas for new features, functionality and modules, and will receive an allocated number of annual votes enabling them to influence the decision-making process and timescale of upcoming development themes. Within the first week of launch, the Change Lab received 689 votes. Development themes will be reviewed quarterly and the roadmap adjusted accordingly. The first significant change will be the roll out of enhanced dashboards – a new-look ‘home page’ which will give Cascade users access to the top-line data they need at their fingertips. The launch of the new Change Lab portal reflects Cascade’s commitment to innovation and agility in an ever-changing HR tech landscape. Product director Paul Sparkes said: “It is important that our roadmap addresses the processes and solves the problems that HR teams need to streamline in order to add value. So who better to steer the development of our system than the people who use the technology every day.” Gender pay gap reporting capabilities were also introduced in Cascade’s April release. This key feature ensures clients can comply with legislative changes, without the headache of added administration. The functionality means that the system can automatically calculate the six pieces of statutory data that organisations with more than 250 employees should now disclose.
