At Shoup Legal, our dedicated team of skilled professionals is the cornerstone of our commitment to excellent client experience. With expertise, compassion, and a focus on personalized solutions, we take pride in providing top-notch legal services that cater to the unique needs of every individual and family we serve. Alexis, our estate planning assistant, is just one example of the amazing team members who work to deliver the best for our clients. She wears many hats: From aiding our attorneys in preparing estate planning documents to making sure our clients’ needs and wishes are communicated and met, she truly does it all. Before Alexis joined our Shoup Legal family, she was working at a personal injury firm. “During that time, my father unfortunately passed away,” she noted. “He didn’t have anything

planned as far as estate planning goes, and it was at this time that I noticed the knowledge gap within cultural communities. I’m of Latin descent, and in our culture, estate planning isn’t something commonly talked about. I viewed this as an opportunity and found my calling.” Alexis is currently in law school part time and commutes three days a week to Ontario. “While it’s certainly a huge commitment, I’ve learned a lot about prioritizing, time management, and taking advantage of any free time I have. I feel that I constantly receive many signs, both personally and professionally, that assure me that at Shoup, I’m where I’m supposed to be.” Outside of work, Alexis enjoys dancing, cooking, and spending time outdoors. Alexis, we are thrilled you chose Shoup Legal to call home and look forward to continuing to make a difference in the lives of our clients together!
