The Spooky Wagon Ride is a year- end highlight, ending the day before Hallowe’en. It is so scary the owners caution that children under 10 might not like it, and the evening ride (in the dark) is for teens and adults only. Dennis Taylor says he is pleased with their success, not only for themselves, but also for the many community organizations and schools that they have provided fundraising opportunities for.
CANNAMORE |This year Cannamore Orchard marks two anniversaries, 30 years since Dennis and Claire Taylor and family planted their first 500 apple trees, and 20 years since the inception of the now- famous Spooky Wagon Ride.
High school bands from North Dundas District HS, St. Francis Xavier Catholic HS and St. Thomas Aquinas CHS alone have benefited from almost $300,000 of contributions.
