2024 Higher Education Learning Solutions Catalog

Facilitating Learner-Centered Teaching is a potent tool to help pre-service and practicing teachers understand the fundamental pedagogical principles, processes, and practices that are anchored on learner-centeredness and other educational psychologies, as they facilitate the delivery of teaching and learning in the current educational milieu. Each lesson highlights the practical applications of such theories in the 21st-century classroom. Every chapter also ends with simulated questions patterned after the Licensure Exam for Teachers. The activities in this textbook are all learner-centered to activate critical thinking and problem solving among users. This book is also a research-oriented material that addresses multi-standards for teacher education institutions, including their alignment with the Philippine Professional Standards for Teachers (PPST). Moreover, it aids in realizing the level 6 descriptors of the Philippine Qualifications Framework (PQF). Lastly, it primarily follows the tenets of outcomes-based education, as stipulated in CMO No. 46, Series of 2012. Facilitating Learner-Centered Teaching
