MARK JOSEPH T. CALANO
He is an associate professor and the Graduate Program Coordinator of the Department of Philosophy at the Ateneo de Manila University. He is a graduate of Bachelor of Philosophy (cum laude). MA Philosophy (cum laude), MA Religious Studies (magna cum laude), and Ph.D. in Applied Linguistics (magna cum laude) at Saint Louis University, and a graduate of Ph.D. in Philosophy at the Ateneo de Manila University. He did his postdoctoral fellowships at the Scientia Forum in Tubingen, at the Dynamics of Religion in Southeast Asia (DORISEA) in Berlin and Göttingen, Germany, and the Benedict XVI Center in Vienna, Austria. Mark served as the past president of the Philosophical Association of the Philippines, Inc. and was an international board member of the Korean Society for Religion and Literature.
JOHN AMIEL A. RIVERA
He is a project technical staff Ill at the Commission on Higher Education, Office of Commissioner Aldrin A. Darilag. Before he was appointed PTS Ill, he served and taught as a college instructor, handling general education, professional education, and specialization courses at the Rizal Technological University and the Polytechnic University of the Philippines-Manila. Furthermore, he finished his Master of Arts in English Language Teaching and Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines-College of Education. Currently, he is pursuing his Doctor in Education major in Educational Leadership at the National Teachers College-School of Advanced Studies.
ABOUT THE COORDINATOR
He is a professor at the College of Human Ecology and the Graduate School of the University of the Philippines-Los Baños (UPLB). He finished his Master of Arts in Education and Doctor of Philosophy in Education major in Curriculum Studies at UP-Diliman. He also completed his Master of Education in Curriculum Development at Ehime University in Japan. He received the Academic Excellence Award from the UP College of Education for obtaining the highest general weighted average for his doctorate studies. He also received the prestigious Pi Gamma Hu Award for Academic Excellence in Social Sciences and is a member of the Phi Kappa Phi International Honor Society. GREG TABIOS PAWILEN
