2024 Higher Education Learning Solutions Catalog

Every Filipino has the right to accessible, relevant, and empowering education. Every learner deserves to be supported until they have reached their maximum potential and have found their rightful place to participate actively in society. Inspired by this lofty goal, we developed this book in the hopes of helping the government and civil society create a more inclusive culture in the school that not only accepts and understands but also knows what to do with learners who have sensory and physical disabilities (LSPDs). Like any other learner, LSPDs deserve to have the kind of education that will transform their lives, maximize their capacities, harness their capabilities, and enable them to partner in nation-building. We have designed this book not only to cater to families but also to educators as its primary readers and beneficiaries so that they can be made more aware and knowledgeable on how they can successfully rear and support such learners. After all, families, school administrators, and teachers must work together until the goal for each learner has been achieved. We can always do something to lift and encourage those who have disabilities. We ought to make this choice as we strive to make our world more inclusive.
