This module is designed to serve as a teaching portfolio for student teachers who are doing their Teaching Internship course, formerly known as Practice Teaching. It serves as a guide for students’ teaching skills and performance and provides templates they could use in their practicum. The module is learner-centered, and it follows the principles and practices of outcomes-based education. Furthermore, the contents of this module and the activities are compliant with the new teacher education curriculum prescribed by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Memorandum Order Nos. 74, 75, 76, and 77, Series of 2017. ABOUT THE AUTHORS

ERICSON M. REYES

He is a seasoned higher education program specialist. He obtained his Bachelor of Secondary Education from Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University-South La Union. His decade of experience in higher education includes policy and curriculum development for undergraduate and graduate programs in teacher education, covering monitoring and evaluation of teacher education programs and projects. He has been involved in numerous teacher education projects, such as the Centers of Excellence and Centers of Development Project, the development of the Master Plan for Teacher Education, the development of ICT-Competency Standards for Teachers, and the development of the National Research Agenda for Teacher Education.

JOHN AMIEL A. RIVERA

He is a Project Technical Staff III at the Office of Commissioner Aldrin A. Darilag at the Commission on Higher Education (CHED). Prior to his appointment at CHED, he served as a college instructor at the Rizal Technological University and the Polytechnic University of the Philippines-Manila. He is a licensed professional teacher and a graduate of Master of Arts in English Language Teaching at PUP-Manila. He also earned his Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English from the same university. Presently, he is taking his Doctor in Education major in Educational Leadership at the National Teachers College.

TRIXIE MARIE J. SISON

She is an educator who has been in the field for almost 30 years now. She is the dean of the College of Education at Miriam College. She graduated as class valedictorian and cum laude with a degree in child development and education from Maryknoll College in 1988. She completed her master’s degree in family life and child development at the University of the Philippines-Diliman and earned her Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Management at the De La Salle Araneta University with the highest distinction. She is involved with some government agencies and private organizations. Among these are being a member of the Technical Committee on Early Childhood Education under the Commission on Higher Education, various technical committees of the Early Childhood Care and Development Council, the Asia Pacific Regional Network for Early Childhood, the National Association for the Education of Young Children, and the Association for Childhood Education International.

GREG TABIOS PAWILEN, PH.D.

He finished his Master of Arts in Education and Doctor of Philosophy in Education major in Curriculum Studies at the University of the Philippines- Diliman. He also completed his Master of Education in Curriculum Development and did a postdoctoral study on Gifted Education in Science at Ehime University in Japan. As a scholar, he has done numerous research works and published articles in national and international peer-reviewed journals. He served as a professor of Curriculum Studies at the University of the Philippines-Diliman for nine years. He became a member of CHED’s Technical Committee for Educational Leadership and Foundations for four years. He received various scholarship grants, such as the Mombukagakusho Research Scholarship, JASSO Research Fellowship Grant, and the JASSO Student Support Scholarship. He finished his Ph.D. with the ‘Academic Excellence Award’ for getting the highest general weighted average among all the doctoral graduates. He also received the prestigious Pi Gamma Mu Award for Academic Excellence in Social Sciences. He was also a member of the Phi Kappa Phi International Honor Society. Currently, he is a professor of Curriculum Development and Evaluation and Human Development Studies at the University of the Philippines-Los Baños.
