Regulatory Framework and Legal Issues in Business I is the first installment of a two-part textbook in Regulatory Framework and Legal Issues in Business, one of the courses under the Bachelor of Science in Accountancy. This is intended primarily for Accountancy and Business students as well as certified public accountant (CPA) board-examination candidates. However, this work could likewise provide a good material for students of law. Simplified examples were incorporated, and Supreme Court decisions were digested in a simple manner, which served as a tool for easier comprehension of the pertinent articles or sections. The definitions of terms used in the different articles were incorporated to enable the readers to appreciate and comprehend well the meaning of the law. ABOUT THE AUTHOR
ATTY. ANDRIX D. DOMINGO, CPA, MBA
He is a certified public accountant and a member of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines. He has a Master in Business Administration. Atty. Domingo also has extensive experience in the academe and law practice. He is a reviewer in the subjects, Criminal Law and Regulatory Frameworks for Business Transactions (formerly Business Laws), at various review schools and undergraduate review courses nationwide. He is also a former professor at two law schools. He holds an appointment as Attorney V and is designated as an investigating officer and a hearing officer of the Legal Services Division of the Civil Service Commission.
