Indented extend ed quotations would better have been printed in smaller type than the text. 91 pages; cloth; Vantage Press, New York, N.Y.; $2.75. “A translation in today’s language” of the book of Acts is another in the author’s series of New Testament “ translations.” Actually they are in terpretations rather than translations — and in the direction of liberalism, at that. Many conservatives seem to be making use of these books without even faintly realizing their full im port. The scholar’s discriminating use of them is quite another matter.
