came from Him. She looked at me as if I were flying in the face of danger. Nowadays, the elephants face any which way in my home. As for good deeds, I probably do far more than when I carefully counted each one. I find that they
make life pleasant, but I know I’ll never do enough to gain the longed- for, sought-after heaven. For that I depend upon the one who said, “ I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” (John 14:6).
