Those of us called to this qui- eter path are no less powerful than the wonderfully bold, boisterous, PRYHUV DQG VKDNHUV 2XU PHWKRGV DUH GL̆ HUHQW RXU JRDO LV VKDUHG and achievements support one another. In the Bible story, God chose not to overpower Elijah with his power but instead engage him with a gentle whisper. By engaging him, Elijah became his emissary. Those of us on this path, enlist ever expand- ing groups of people to change the world. Paraphrasing the advice RIWHQDWWULEXWHG WR -LPP\ +HQGUL[ ZKHQ ZH VKLIW IURP WKH ORYH RI power to the power of love, the world will be transformed to peace. We VXSSRUWWKHPDUFKHUVWKHEDQQHUFDUULHUVÀDJZDYHUVDQGFKDQWHUV These methods are clear and known. What seems to be less understood are the methods of the “whis- SHUHUV´:KLVSHUHUVDUHLQÀXHQFHUV%\WKHLUFODULW\WKH\GUDZSHRSOH to them who want to experience a new-to-them way of being. They are seeking feelings that result from shifted perspectives, which honor all creation. They come to understand solutions reaching far beyond themselves. They identify with the sensations of embraced-Oneness. Intuitively, they sense a “heart call” to change the status quo. They UHDOL]HDWWKHVRXOOHYHOWKDWWKHSRZHURIV\VWHPLFFKDQJHDULVHVIURP within the individual, then the community, the nation and the world. This ubiquitous shift has staying power. It is rampantly contagious. +RZLVWKLVDFFRPSOLVKHG":HPXVWOHDQLQWRWKHPLGGOHJURXQG embracing challenges, not allowing fear and discomfort to dissuade us, and not becoming discouraged by apparent setbacks.
