Universal Driveshaft Loop ALL69000 Universal driveshaft loop contains the driveshaft if a yoke or U-joint fails. Loop is 1/4" thick x 2" wide mild steel and fully adjustable to fit most cars. Driveshaft Loop For 1979-2004 Mustangs ALL69006 Driveshaft safety loop bolts-on to help retain the front of the driveshaft in the event of a U-joint or other drivetrain component breakage. Black epoxy coated, all steel loop includes mounting hardware and complete instructions. Loop is designed to fit inside fac- tory tunnel and work with most driveshafts up to 4" in diameter. Unwelded Driveshaft Loop ALL69004 Made from 3/16" flat steel, loop is 9-1/2" tall, 5-1/2" wide with a 16" wide mounting strap that can be cut and welded for each installation. 180° Driveshaft Loop ALL69002 Pre-bent 1" diameter x .083" wall mild steel tubing is designed for chassis style cars to help retain the driveshaft in the event of a U-joint failure. Loop is 10" tall overall and has a 5" I.D.
Driveshafts are built from 2-1/2" O.D. x .065" wall, D.O.M. steel tubing, balanced, painted white and com- pletely assembled with greaseable 1310 series (3-1/4") U-joints. Driveshafts also include a popular 27-spline slip yoke to work with Powerglide, TH350, Bert, Brinn and many other transmissions. Yoke measures 5.50" from U-joint centerline to end with 3.50" of slip length. Dimensions listed are from center to center of U-joints.

Tailshaft Seal And Bushing The tailshaft bushing is a regular
wear item, located inside the transmission tailshaft housing. It should be replaced when replacing the tailshaft seal or when a driveshaft failure has occurred. A worn bushing will cause exces- sive side-to-side movement of the slip yoke and create a vibration or leak.
