Warning kit senses pressure in the cooling system and alerts driver of a problem when
coolant pressure drops below 4 PSI. In the event of coolant loss (i.e. blown radiator hose), the temperature gauge probe is no longer surrounded by coolant to detect the engine temperature. This will lead to a false temperature gauge reading and major engine damage.
