As an avid golfer, warm, sunny weather means more days on the green. I started golfing when I was 8, and I’ve never stopped. I appreciate the chance to get outside, connect with nature, and catch up with friends and colleagues. People are more themselves out there. Being in nature encourages everyone to relax and forget some of their everyday stress. There’s a reason why almost all of our presidents have golfed (and why many business deals are made on the green). Golf is a generational lifetime sport. It’s adaptable for all age groups, levels, and body types. Almost anyone can play golf. The movements are fluid and less taxing on the body than a lot of athletic activities. What I really enjoy about the game, though, is that it’s about accuracy, not just strength. Golfing isn’t just a pastime for me; it’s my passion, and it’s crossed over into my professional life. I enjoy working with golfers across the spectrum, from professionals to weekend players and everyone in between, to improve their swing. Several years ago, I was one of a handful of chiropractors invited to the 2009 PGA Championship at Hazeltine Club in Minnesota. To be there among other top-tier chiropractors treating pros like Phil Mickelson? It was out of this world. I’ll never forget it. Later this year, I’m heading to Chicago to take my knowledge to the next level and make another golf dream of mine come true: I’ll be completing a course at the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) to become a certified TPI provider. This is a program I’ve dreamed of since I graduated from

school, so it’s pretty incredible to see it becoming a reality. To be at this level, learning from respected professionals, will be a huge honor. The TPI program is designed to provide medical practitioners, teaching professionals, and trainers with a deeper understanding of how the body functions during the golf swing to help players improve their game. I’ll be learning all about the dynamics of the swing and how to help you improve yours. I am so excited about this opportunity, and I'm even more excited to bring back what I learn to the Treasure Valley. I’ll be one of two TPI-certified chiropractors in Idaho, and I look forward to incorporating everything I learn into your treatment. Your golf performance is one of the many activities chiropractic care can improve. Chiropractic care, in general, is good for your performance in your favorite sports and activities. Whether it’s basketball, swimming, or gardening, the adjustments we do are tailored to you and what you love to do. NEXT LEVEL ... AND BRINGING THE BENEFITS TO YOU TAKING MY GAME TO THE
