Lastly but not least, I would like to congratulate our Past President on his recent retirement this year in 2024. Nicholas has always been there, from day one. His fraternal spirit and dedication to the Saint Paul’s Society does not go unnoticed. Like many others before us, Nicholas continues to promote the Greek Eastern Orthodox Religious values. 19+ years ago Nick signed me up as a member of the society in the academy. As a board member myself handling multiple positions along side Nicholas over the course of the last 10 years and recently becoming the new President of the Saint Paul’s Society I will continue to promote that fraternal spirit and values. It’s not easy being in charge of a society, when you do it for such a long time it just looks easy. The reality of it is, a position like the president comes with great deal of responsibility, determination, leadership and you have to have the heart for the position. Nicholas always had that and continues to do so, the former past presidents had it ans well and I will continue to keep it going. Without the motivation, collaboration and teamwork of the membership along with the board as a whole, the society would not be where it is today. Nicholas has not only been a mentor to me, but a long time friend I can call a brother in blue filled with knowledge, humbleness and guidance.
