Introduction
We recognise that creating an inclusive culture is vital to the success of our business. It is crucial that our people feel happy, respected and able to be their whole selves at work. Having a workforce that brings a variety of backgrounds and experiences will help us harness the power of different perspectives, to better innovate and problem solve, and drive change. This will benefit the service we offer our clients, make us a more attractive employer and ultimately drive the continued success of the firm.
These figures represent headcount percentages of our UK employees and partners as of 1 November 2021. We ask questions about some key diversity characteristics for all staff on joining, and these have a 100% response rate. We ask other questions on a Diversity form on the HR self-service system, which employees and partners can view and update at any time. The average response rate for questions that are not asked on the joining form is 52%. For these questions, the figures shown represent percentages of those who have responded to that question. Clyde & Co reports diversity data for employees and partners based in our England offices to the Solicitors Regulation Authority biennially. The last submission was in July 2021.
