WILDBERRY
FARMS
Welcome to the Wildberry Farms 2026 annual bull and heifer sale. While this sale mirrors our past events, this year we are missing my father Jim Berry, who isn’t here to greet everyone and share his enthusiasm for the day. Although Dad is no longer with us, the farm continues to operate as always. Mom comes to the farm every day to support our team Ben, Jim, Dean, and Peyton, ensuring they have everything they need to care for the farm and the cattle. And our family is committed to carrying on Dad’s vision of raising cattle that continues to build on and improve the genetics of the cattle at Wildberry Farms. This year’s sale would not be possible without the hard work and commitment of our team. Ben Lehman has taken on the additional responsibilities of managing operations of the farm to ensure our cattle sales continue in the tradition established by Dad. Dean Elder continues his work to prepare the bulls and heifers for our sale today. And thanks to the steady efforts of Jim Boop and Peyton Foster, everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

JIM AND NANCY BOOP
Thank you for your interest in our program. We understand there are many sales across the country, and we truly appreciate you taking the time to evaluate our offering. We are proud of this set of cattle and believe Jim would be too. Jim’s favorite philosophy was to “raise the cattle so they’ll work anywhere,” and I feel this set is developed to do just that. It’s always humbling to hear and see how other places manage their herds across the country. We truly enjoy hearing when our bulls and females have success for customers everywhere from Montana to south Alabama. The calves were weaned in late August with no creep feed; weaned on hand-fed a 1% body weight grain mix with free-choice grass hay until late October. Once transitioned to a TMR ration (46 NEG based on haylage, grass hay, silage, and wet corn gluten), the bulls were turned into a 40-acre fescue-based pasture to provide plenty of exercise. This development and ration remain consistent through sale day to ensure the bulls are not pushed for excessive gain. This year, they remained on pasture until late January. As indicated by the scan data, these bulls are kept lean and in hard condition, ensuring they are ready to work when breeding season arrives.
We stand behind our offering 100%. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any issues, as we understand the unpredictability of working with livestock.
Jim’s passion was to produce trouble-free, predictable cattle, and we hope you find exactly that in this offering. This place doesn’t run without our crew either, Dean, who lives in the calving barn this time of year with Brian Boop who helps every calving season. Jim Boop keeps everything working and clean in the winter and Peyton is learning to help wherever he is needed. I also want to extend a special thank you to Ann, Rob, and the entire Berry family from all of us, for continuing Jim’s legacy with Wildberry Farms.
Welcome
