General Manager’s Corner

ALOHA OUTRIGGER ‘OHANA, As we approach the last couple months of the year, I wanted to take this opportuni- ty to wish you and your family a joyous holiday season!

Like many of you, this is undoubt- edly my favorite time of the year. The sparkling holiday decora- tions, the familiar Christmas music, the sweet aroma of sugar cookies, and the sight of Santa on the red canoe always puts a smile on my face. As you’re reading this, our Club is bustling with prepa-

standing by to help create memorable experiences for your families and friends! This edition of Ama includes a feature on giving back, so I’d like to give you a glimpse of what our team is doing this holiday season to give back to the community. On Oct. 8, more than 25 members of the sta and their families participated in the 2023 Komen Hawai‘i More Than Pink Walk at Kapi‘olani Park. On Oct. 28, approximately 20 sta members joined in on a beach cleanup in partnership with the Surfrider Foundation. In November, members of the team will actively support the Habitat for Humanity Association. Throughout the year, our team constantly looks for way to support the community. I would like to take a moment to thank each and every one of our employees who volunteers and supports these meaningful eorts. Last, but certainly not least, I want to thank the membership for their contributions to the Holiday Fund for the employees. Your giving nature during the holidays is so heartwarming. On behalf of the entire team, I want to extend our heartfelt thank you for your kindness in helping create a wonderful holiday season for us all!

rations for the holiday season. The operations team has been diligently making our lists and checking them twice to make sure every detail is carefully planned to ensure you enjoy your holidays at the Club! During this festive season, I would like to highlight an area that brings all of us joy at the Club –the Food and Beverage Program. While members appreciate the exceptional food and outstanding service provided by our Club, what may not be widely known is that part of this experience is subsidized by your membership dues. This subsidy allows us to oer unparalleled culinary experiences without the substantial prices. It is our way of expressing our gratitude for your ongoing commitment to the Club. Beyond dining experiences in the Koa Lanai, the Hau Terrace, the Ka Mo‘i and the Snack Shop, we oer exclusive event spaces for your holiday gatherings, birthday celebrations, business dinners, or intimate evenings with close friends. The beautiful ambiance and private settings reflect the high standard of food and service you’ve come to expect from the Club. This aligns with our philosophy of providing unforgettable events at unbeatable prices. Interested in planning an event? Please contact our talented catering department headed up by Wayne Larrow, Assistant Food and Beverage Director, who’s in charge of catering; Jhasmine Sacro, the Events Manager; or Leiolani Malagon Leon, the Events Coordinator. The team is

From my family to yours—happy holidays!
