Customized Private Shows Laugh with and strengthen that bond with your team as you enjoy Boston’s best Improvisers acting out your inside jokes, familiar characters and corporate “secrets” on stage! You supply the material, we supply the funny! Our show features 4-6 actors, a musician, and a technician. In addition to the specific customization, the actors will also bring volunteers up on stage, ask the audience for suggestions for their scenes, and interview someone you select and then reenact their life in a fun and comfortable way on stage. Corporate Training

Listening, collaboration and momentum. Learning how to think on your feet starts with knowing how to listen, and our innovative, tested and impactful approach to interactive training employs a whole slew of techniques that foster active listening. Ideas move forward instead of being shot down or restated over and over again because nobody is picking up on a concept. Keeping a thread alive on stage is no different from developing corporate strategy or pursuing innovation. So, let us help. Our Corporate Training Program brings the art of improv to the corporate world in a way that makes learning to listen, collaborate and create both engaging and fun. Picking up a few improv skills will help your team members work together more effectively, bolster their confidence, and help them process complex information quickly. It’s a new approach to an age-old problem – and it works (did we mention FUN too!) We can’t teach your people to be funny, but we can help them develop the skills that have made us able to think on our feet, collaborate on a project, refine ideas and produce effective results. We were hired by Nokia to create and develop a multi-location program for their leadership teams throughout the world. Over the course of a few years, we visited and delivered INNOVATION in Helsinki, Edinburgh, Lenggries, Munich, and Amsterdam to name a few and Dubai was pretty cool. Humble brag… it was incredible! Nokia hired us to bring together leaders that represented just about every region that Nokia covered. Which is just about everywhere! These leaders never met each other before but all shared the same responsibility for their teams. We helped create that common bond, helped facilitate a message, environment and culture where everyone learned new and effective ways of communicating together as well as explored how others do their job, the same job, in a totally different culture.

So while the show is crafted on-the-spot, based on suggestions from the audience, the performers set in their comedic scenes in your organization, creating a one-of-a-kind comedic experience.

Working with a smaller group? Purchase tickets with a group discount to one of our existing shows and add a private one-hour bar room rental before! You’ll still get to work one-on-one with our events manager to help you plan the event with food, beverage and entertainment options, without the cost of buying out the whole venue!
Road Shows
Whether you’re running orientation at one of the many colleges and universities in Boston or a sales conference at Disney World Paris, our improvisors have traveled the world performing for audiences as small as a dozen or as large as several thousand. If you’ve got the space and want to fill it with laughter, we’ve got the show for you!
Stand-up Comedy Bringing in a stand-up comedian is the perfect “out of the box” solution for a quick burst of energy to open up or close out your event.
Stand-up comedy is one of the most beloved and familiar forms of entertainment, and Laugh Boston is one of the top venues for stand-up in the United States. Every week, the club is home to some of the top local, national and international headliners. Our team will provide a hilarious comedian that matches the exact right tone for your event, from content subject to language rating to runtime. Stand- ups can adjust the running times of their sets to accomodate your event’s schedule, but most are best set up for success in 20 minute segments.
Or, if you’ve got the budget, we can work with our national talent bookers to bring in a marquee name headliner from anywhere in the world!
Audio Visual
From projecting a PowerPoint presentation to a fully- immersive nightclub atmosphere, our venues can provide the look and sound you need for your event to be a smash.
Improv Asylum can host your event either in our front room or on our main stage. Events in the front room have access to handheld microphones and streaming audio services with TVs to display messaging. Our mainstage has all of that, with a full tech booth available to run the theatrical lights of the stage as well as projection capabilities. Disco ball included at no cost!
Events at Laugh Boston have AV technicians available at all times to help you with your event. With huge projection screens for presentations and video content, a full array of body and handheld microphones, your event can be as customized as you need it to be with large flat-screen tvs throughout the venue to display your event’s branding.
Catering
The secret to keeping people happy starts with filling their bellies. And we have enough options to satisfy even the finickiest of discrimating palattes.
We’re keeping it light and fresh at Improv Asylum when it comes to our catering partners. Private shows begin with catering service in the front room before the show starts where we have the ability for passed appetizers as well as a buffet line. We have a list of vendors who have a proven track record of delivering delicious food, time after time.
Laugh Boston is so spacious that we can accomodate up to 300 people in our main room, seated! Or if you’re looking to open up the room, we can let people mingle with food atop high top tables. Check with your event manager on catering options, or enjoy Laugh Boston’s own in-house menu with sandwiches, light bar fare and made-to-order pizzas.
