Userguide Control4 in-lite

CONTROL4 IN-LITE V102

INTRODUCTION in-lite garden lighting is a low-voltage, easy-to-install outdoor lighting system that uses 12V power and a transformer to connect to a standard plug socket. The system is designed to be safe, energy-efficient, and expandable, with a range of fixtures like spotlights, path lights, wall lights, and decorative lights.

DRIVER INSTALLATION

Several driver files are included in the release package.

• • • •

ip_inlite_smart_lamp.c4z

ip_inlite_light_zone.c4z

ip_inlite_scene.c4z

ip_inlite_smart_system.c4z

Copy the above files from the zip package to your Control4 driver location (by default this is Documents\Control4\Drivers). Open Composer and choose the Search tab from the Items pane. Add one instance of the driver ‘in-lite Smart System’ into your project (represents a garden in the in-lite app), along with 1 or more instances of the drivers ‘in-lite Smart Lamp’ and ‘in-lite Light Zone’ (one for each light or zone you wish to control). The lighting drivers will connect automatically to the Smart System driver. If you have multiple Smart Systems (multiple gardens available in the in-lite app), you must ensure that the correct connections are made from the lighting drivers to the Smart System drivers.

DRIVER CONFIGURATION

The Smart System driver deals with all the communications between the C4 processor and in-lite.

In the Connections tab in Composer, enter the IP address of your Controller to connect it to this driver. The Auth token Composer property is required to be filled in to establish comms with the device. The auth token can be found in the in-lite app under Settings > Garden > SMART BRIDGE > Connect with KNX The driver includes discovery functionality. You can run the Auto-Add Detected Drivers action described below, to automatically discover and install required lighting drivers for your system.

Once installed, you should see connections on the INLITE_INTERDRIVER_COMMS binding

HOW CAN I RECALL IN-LITE SCENES?

Scenes can be recalled in two ways:

1. Install an instance of the in-lite Scene driver, and select the scene you wish to recall. This presents as a switched light driver on the Control4 UI. 2. For any installed in-lite Smart Lamp or in-lite Light Zone driver, press and hold on the lights toggle icon from any Control4 UI, then press on Lighting Extras. From this menu, you can choose any scene to recall.
