Rise of the Controligarchs (Continued from Page 16)

Do you see the connection? What are the Controli- garchs attempting today in this same regard? If you said, “AI enhanced transhumanism,” you are correct. What will that entail? Today’s most wealthy people are fixated on transforming mankind into an image they imagine. The recent World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, hosted the world’s wealthiest individuals, and top gov- ernment officials from across the world. One plenary ses- sion was held to discuss the subject of AI. Artificial Intelligence is embedded in everything the Controligarchs have stated is essential for the survival of the world. If the participants in the Davos meeting were constricted by a “truth” requirement, they would have said that AI is es- sential for their vision of a new world without many of the useless eaters presently consuming scarce resources. The top of their list of “useless eaters” are born-again, blood-bought, spirit-filled Christians. World Economic Forum philosopher Noah Yuval Harari has stated repeat- edly that a new religion is rising upon the earth. It is a re- ligion of technology. Harari believes that this new techno religion will replace Christianity primarily. He believes that technology will save humanity. This new religion is a modern manifestation of the old Gnostic heresy of sal- vation through secret, esoteric knowledge. Several major points emerged from the conversation about AI at the recent Davos meeting. I’ll share a couple of them. First, the Davos crowd believes that too much of the world is still analogue and disconnected from the “information superhighway.” The solution, according to the Controligarchs, is to get everyone on the planet elec- tronically connected as quickly as possible. Second, they believe that AI will enable them to perfect quantum com- puting which will, in turn, unlock innumerable things that remain unknown. This is the entire purpose for CERN, by the way. Scientists there state that they are attempting to receive information inaccessible to them presently. Third, AI is believed to be the key to assisting today’s world leaders in prioritizing humanity. Again, if they would speak truthfully, they would say that AI is going to deter- mine for world leaders where to invest resources and

where to withhold resources. This has chilling implica- tions when you consider what we already have witnessed in the Twenty-first century concerning the devaluing of human life. The most concerning thing that we must know about our modern Controligarchs is that they are determined to rewrite human DNA. Shadows of this intent emerged in the recent COVID-19 discoveries by independent re- searchers. Genome editing and CRISPR (Clustered Regularly Interspaced Short Palindromic Repeats) tech- nology are the new frontiers and Controligarchs are heav- ily invested in research in these fields. Bill Gates trumpets gene editing technology as a solution to every health cri- sis the world faces. Elon Musk famously tweeted in 2020 that “Genetic engineering is too slow unless you use a synthetic virus.” Talk about a “letting the cat out of the bag” statement. Musk has also invested billions in his new company Neuralink, to research and create a viable link from human brains to computers through implants. Here is why all of this information about the current state of technology, especially as it relates to gene editing, genome research, CRISPR, and Artificial Intelligence, is important. We find ourselves living in another day like Noah just before the flood. Technology has enabled us to expand our understanding of the human body. Indeed, the technologies mentioned above provide opportunities for scientists to create, change, and add to human DNA. We can already see that this technology can be used for evil purposes. I will also say that this technology is being used to create designer viruses. Is this technology being used for the common good of all mankind? Yes, in many cases, it is. However, we must ask the question, “Is mod- ern technology being used to create dangerous things detrimental to mankind’s survival?” The clear answer is yes, it is. The dangerous use of current technology far exceeds any proposed benefit, given the stated goals of the people involved. In my youth, the government of the US was focused on the nuclear threat to America from the Russians. At the height of the Cold War in the 1960s I recall partici-

pating in school drills meant to prepare us to act in the event of a nuclear attack. Something far worse has gripped the world today. Jesus warned us that His sec- ond coming would be during a time just like the days of Noah. The days of Noah were evil because human DNA had been corrupted. We are at that place again. We will begin to hear of amazing creations coming from the world’s scientists. The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) has been working on what they term “super-soldiers” for decades. An article in The Atlantic describes how far technology has come and what we can expect to be revealed very soon. “For decades after its inception in 1958, the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency — DARPA, the central research and development organization of the Department of Defense — focused on developing vast weapons systems. Starting in 1990…a new focus was put on soldiers, airmen, and sailors — on transforming humans for war. The progress of those efforts, to the ex- tent it can be assessed through public information, hints at war’s future, and raises questions about whether mil- itary technology can be stopped, or should. “Gorman sketched out an early version of the thinking in a paper he wrote for DARPA after his retirement from the Army in 1985, in which he described an ‘integrated- powered exoskeleton’ that could transform the weakling of the battlefield into a veritable super-soldier. The ‘Su- perTroop’ exoskeleton he proposed offered protection against chemical, biological, electromagnetic, and ballistic threats, including direct fire from a .50-caliber bullet. It ‘in- corporated audio, visual, and haptic [touch] sensors,’ Gorman explained, including thermal imaging for the eyes, sound suppression for the ears, and fiber optics from the head to the fingertips. Its interior would be cli- mate-controlled, and each soldier would have his own physiological specifications embedded on a chip within his dog tags. ‘When a soldier donned his ST [Su- perTroop] battledress,’ Gorman wrote, ‘he would insert one dog-tag into a slot under the chest armor, thereby loading his personal program into the battle suit’s com-

puter,’ giving the 21st-century soldier an extraordinary ability to hear, see, move, shoot, and communicate.” Astute readers will be reminded of the Tony Stark char- acter in the Marvel Iron Man movie franchise. I noticed this same tacit acknowledgement in the recent Tom Cruise Top Gun Maverick movie when actor Ed Harris, playing Rear Admiral Chester Cain, arrived at the test site of an experimental next generation stealth fighter to shut the program down. His reasoning was that manned aircraft was a thing of the past. Admiral Cain believed fu- ture jet fighters would be flown by AI “pilots” who never tire, who don’t need to eat, or drink, and who obey orders. Sounds exactly like what the Controligarchs are attempt- ing to implement. Our world is on a collision course with biblical prophecy. While Controligarchs deceive people into believing that the future is theirs to create and rule, Jesus waits in the wings. While scientists tamper with DNA, the Bible re- minds us that God has created the human body, and it is fearfully and wonderfully made. Will God allow some of His creation, who are in open rebellion, to destroy His imagers and create their own race of super soldiers to do the bidding of the Controligarchs? The Bible gives a resounding “NO” to this strong delusion. The birth pangs of biblical prophecy are already upon the earth. Those who have ears to hear and eyes to see are not fooled. To those Christians who have been gifted with God’s perspective, His divine insight, and have learned to follow the direction of the Holy Spirit, the bat- tlefield is clear. We are armored up and prepared to press the war wherever King Jesus leads us. Will Jesus tarry much longer? Dr. Mike Spaulding Pastor, Calvary Chapel of Lima www.cclohio.org www.drmikespaudling.com

Depressed People Of the Bible: Elijah’s Highs and Lows

By Jeff Zaremsky April 2024 Elijah’s story goes from a mountaintop experience down to a suicidal desire.

wonderful ways. Sometimes the best way to get out of the cave of de- pression is by sitting still and crying out to the Lord from that cave. God took Elijah out of the cave and into the light. God will do the same for you. Elijah’s rehabilitation included good food, water, rest, exercise, getting him back to the Word of God, re- minding him that he was not the only one in the world who had problems, and he was not the only person in the world whom God could use. God also reminded him that God was in charge, not him. The Lord demonstrated to Elijah that He was all powerful, but that God’s powerful demonstrations were not as im- portant as hearing His still small voice. God put Elijah back to work with people who would be an encourage- ment and help to him, and to whom he could be of help. That is quite a list and a pretty good daily recipe for each of us. let him rest. After resting and eating, Elijah journeyed to Mount Horeb. Elijah was still depressed and he isolated himself for forty days. God came to him and asked, “What are you doing here, Elijah?” Elijah was still bitter and presumptuous about how things should be working out. He declared, “I

Elijah told King Ahab that because of his sins it was not going to rain. That took either chutzpah or tremendous faith, or both.

Elijah hid by a brook where God used ravens to bring Eli- jah food. Eventually the brook dried up. God sent Elijah to the home of a widow whose flour and oil miraculously never ran out. The widow’s son died and Elijah wit- nessed God raise him from the dead. Ahab wanted to kill Elijah. After the three and half years of no rain, God called Elijah to return to rebuke Ahab again. Ahab put all the blame on the messenger. Elijah told him it was the king’s sins in forsaking the commandments of God that had caused the troubles. What boldness, what faith, what confidence. Elijah told Ahab to call all the pagan prophets to meet him on Mount Carmel. Elijah called to the peo- ple, “How long will you falter between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow Him; but if Baal, follow him.” Eli- jah turned to the pagan prophets and challenged them to a contest. Both were to build altars to their God, and whichever God answered by fire was the true God. The pagan prophets put their bull upon their altar. For hours they danced, cutting themselves, and calling out to their god. Nothing happened. Elijah mocked them, “Cry aloud, for he is a god; either he is meditat- ing, or he is busy, or he is on a journey, or perhaps he is sleeping and must be awakened.” Elijah put a bull on his altar and had twelve buckets of water poured upon the offering. Elijah prayed and fire came down from heaven and burned up every- thing — the sacrifice, the wood, the water, even the stones. The people cried out, “The Lord, He is God!” Elijah prayed and the Lord sent rain. God gave Elijah the strength to run before Ahab’s chariot back to his palace. What a powerful experience. Elijah was on a high and no doubt expected a full revival to take place. But his great disappointment sent him into a deep de- pression, even to the point of wishing he was dead. When Queen Jezebel heard what had happened, she sent messengers to Elijah stating that he would be dead by morning. Elijah, who had stood bravely for God, who had seen God work miracle after miracle, now ran for his life in fear. After running for a few days Elijah “prayed that he might die, and said, ‘It is enough! Now, Lord, take my

have been very zealous for the Lord God of hosts; for the children of Israel have forsaken Your covenant, torn down Your altars, and killed Your prophets with the sword. I alone am left; and they seek to take my life.” Notice all the fear and focus on self that Elijah ex- pressed. Elijah had taken his eyes off God and placed them upon himself. He focused on his situation with- out taking God, or possibly other people, into consid- eration. God responded by passing the cave with a strong windstorm, followed by an earthquake, followed by fire. But the Lord was not in any of those. Then God’s

still small voice called Elijah, asking again, “What are you doing here, Elijah?” Again, Elijah responded as before. It seems he had been rehearsing that line over and over again in his mind. A very dangerous practice which is far too com- mon. If you hold an envelope in front of your face and focus on it, drawing it closer to your eyes, you will eventually get to the point where it can obscure the view of an entire building. When we review a prob- lem over and over, it can get bigger in our eyes, crowding out even God. It is good to see a problem clear enough that we un- derstand it, but at the same time we need to be turning it over to God and reminding ourselves how much bigger God is than our problem. As opposed to getting into an argument with Elijah, God gave him an assignment to go anoint a couple of kings and a prophet. God told him there were still 7,000 people in Israel who were not serv- ing the false god, baal. Elijah did what God told him to do and as a result of that, God was able to continue to use Elijah in
