If it’s Beauty Therapy you’re looking for, we offer two apprenticeship programmes that will allow you to train and hone your skills in massage therapy, aesthetics and skincare. Throughout your apprenticeship, you'll learn the art and science of beauty treatments, learning advanced techniques such as holistic massage techniques, acupressure and other wellness experiences. Whether you aspire to work in a medical spa, cosmetic clinic, or high-end salon, the specialised knowledge and expertise gained during your apprenticeship will set you apart as a sought-after professional in the field. Under the direction of experienced professionals both in the workplace and at Preston College, you'll gain hands-on experience in performing a wide range of treatments, enhancing your skills to perfection while ensuring the safety and satisfaction of your clients. LEVEL 2 BEAUTY THERAPIST As an apprentice on the Level 2 Beauty Therapist apprenticeship, you will gain essential skills in a wide range of beauty treatments, including facials, waxing, manicure and pedicure, massage, and eyelash and eyebrow treatments. You'll develop proficiency in providing excellent customer service, ensuring clients feel comfortable and pampered throughout their treatments. The apprenticeship also covers health and safety practices, hygiene standards, and how to maintain a clean and safe working environment. In addition to technical skills, you will learn how to assess client needs, recommend appropriate beauty treatments, and promote products and services effectively. By the end of your apprenticeship, you'll be well- prepared to work in a variety of beauty settings, from salons to spas, with a solid foundation of practical and theoretical knowledge that aligns with industry standards.
