You’ll learn how to work safely with tools and machinery, maintain and service equipment, and carry out basic fabrication or assembly tasks. You’ll also gain knowledge in materials, technical documentation, quality control, and problem-solving. In addition, you’ll build professional behaviours like working in a team, following health and safety procedures, and managing your time effectively. This training is based on the nationally recognised Engineering Operative standard, which includes studying for a Level 2 Diploma in Engineering Operations. LEVEL 3 ENGINEERING Progressing from the Level 2, to a Level 3 Engineering apprenticeship, you’ll learn how to apply the engineering principles in real life settings. Depending on which apprenticeship you choose you could be doing anything from designing, troubleshooting, and maintaining mechanical, electrical, and fluid power systems, to interpreting technical drawings and engineering data. You’ll gain core skills in problem-solving, diagnostics, and using measuring and testing equipment safely.
