Applied Aviation & Engineering Research Hangar (FALL 2019) A unique facility that combines the attributes of a research complex with the capabilities of an aircraft hangar and engine test bed. Home to the Eagle Flight Research Center, the Applied Aviation and Engineering Research Hangar will also provide more than 7,500 square feet of flexible lease space for corporate and research partners.

Research Park Wind Tunnel (SPRING 2018) A technologically advanced subsonic wind tunnel that will be capable of unique measurement and testing capabilities, including particle image velocimetry for verification of computer models.

Wind Tunnel Specifications

 Technologically advanced subsonic wind tunnel, capable of delivering flow speeds of up to 230 mph.  Tunnel instrumentation includes a particle image velocimetry (PIV) system, a six-component external force and movement balance, a multi-channel pressure measurement capability, and a three-axis instrumentation traverse.  Nominally rectangular test cross- section with dimensions 6’ wide, 4’ high and 12’ long, with tapered corner filets along its length.  Overall size (footprint) ~95’ x 32’ x 20’
