Fire Station Feasibility Study: A fire station feasibility study was conducted and presented to the Council in September. The study shows the need to start planning for a peak-demand ambulance to be run in the Bolton Boone Corridor, as well as the need to start looking at a fourth fire station in the Southwest portion of the city within five years. The presentation can be viewed under archived city council meetings. This meeting took place at the topical work session on Monday, September 18. Station 263 Remodel: An interior remodel of Fire Station 263 is in the works. This firehouse was originally built in 1989 and is in need of updates. A Request for Proposals (RFP) has gone out for temporary housing to house the firefighters while the remodel is conducted.
