Passions
Everyone seeking this position should be dedicated to serving the Jurisdictions. I am passionate about our membership, both the members we have and the ones we need to attract. I believe there is so much more we can do to retain and attract members. My home chapter has initiated 28 new members in the last 10 years. Eastern Star needs to embrace the digital age. Whether we like it or not, digital living is here to stay. Every generation behind us communicates in a digital world. We need to communicate on their level while still embracing those members who cannot. Check out our Blog on the Navigators Website at navigatorsofnhoes.org and our Facebook Group Friends of the Navigators of NH OES to see what New Hampshire ’ s Navigators have been doing. I also plan to host ZOOM sessions and the link will be on our Facebook Group. We can get to know each other and share ideas about membership and the positive direction of our beloved Order.
