Family Life Believe it or not, my husband Dennis and I met at our Masonic Temple. Our first date was participating in a Rainbow Fundraiser. Dennis also comes from a Masonic Family and is a third generation Past Master of his Lodge. Dennis served in the United States Marine Corps and worked as a Foreman for the New Hampshire State Highway Department. He is retired, but keeps himself busy maintaining New Hampshire ’ s Eastern Star Grandview Database along with all our online Grand Chapter Registrations. Dennis joined Eastern Star in 2014 and it was a delight to serve our Chapter together as Worthy Matron and Worthy Patron. Dennis has served our Grand Chapter as Grand Chaplain and is a Past Grand Patron. Dennis is also a Past District Deputy Grand Master and is a permanent voting member of the Grand Lodge of New Hampshire. He is a Past Thrice Potent Master of the Valley of Concord, Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite in New Hampshire and is currently the Secretary for New Hampshire Consistory and the Treasurer of our local Scottish Rite Dyslexia Learning Center. Dennis is also on the Divan for the Bektash Shrine. Working together we created an online virtual International Weekend in 2020 when Eastern Star was not allowed to congregate in our normal manner. We had approximately 200 members participating in this weekend-long online event from 32 Jurisdictions around the world, including Bolivia and Australia. We came together on multiple Zoom and YouTube platforms for a great weekend, making lifelong friends. Dennis and I have traveled to over 30 different Grand Chapters and love visiting with our members. We enjoy learning about all the traditions in each of the Jurisdictions. Each of you are our Sisters and Brothers and our family.
