Waste Management Named To Fortune Most Admired List Waste Management has joined Fortune magazine’s list of ‘World’s Most Admired Companies’ for the third year in a row. Most importantly, WM moved from the number six position to the first position in Fortune’s industry category and improved upon all possible key attributes of reputation including; innovation, people management, use of corporate assets, social responsibility, quality of management, financial soundness, quality of products/services, and global compet- itiveness. Since 1997, Fortune Magazine and Korn Ferry In- ternational have conducted the research and produced the list, based on a survey of almost 3,800 executives, directors, and industry analysts. Global Recycling Foundation Looks For Recycling Heroes The Global Recycling Foundation is calling for nomina- tions for the award of Recycling Hero 2021 from individuals to business leaders, sole traders to multinational businesses, communities, towns and cities that have continued actively to recycle during the Covid-19 crisis.All entrants will have a chance to win a US$500 prize and the winners will be featured on the Global Recycling Day social media channels. Ten recycling heroes will be chosen as the winners repre- senting the various continents of the world.
