“Before Leadership Texarkana, I felt like I was a part of the TISD community. Now I feel that I am a part of the Texarkana community. I feel a personal responsibility to not only help TISD grow and thrive, but also our wonderful city. I will continue serving through Oaklawn Rotary. I will be intentional of where I invest my time and money. Seeing the efforts to revitalize downtown was exciting to me. We have a treasure in our very unique, beautiful downtown that I will help grow through my active support. I will also encourage our students to take advantage of the post-secondary educational opportunities that Texarkana offers. We can grow each other, and through that effort, we will grow Texarkana.”
