As a Texarkana-native, Haley is grateful for the path that led her back to her hometown. After five years in education, Haley decided to leave the profession and pursue her passion for serving others through nonprofit work at CASA. Haley married her best friend, Randy, in an intimate ceremony in California last year, and they are expecting their first child in September! Haley feels blessed to call Texarkana home and is excited for the big things happening in the community. AREA OF INTEREST—Cultural Assets and Capacity and Social Justice “I truly believe there is great value in serving others and working towards a purpose great than yourself. There is so much to love about Texarkana, and it is important that we cultivate our community’s passion for service. By prioritizing service and placing an emphasis on lifting others up, we will continue to improve not only our city, but all those who call Texarkana home. Through my work with CASA and other local non-profits, I will continue to emphasize the importance of service and strive to enhance the quality of life for those in our area. The foundation of a community is its members, and I believe that through service, we can build upon Texarkana’s strong foundation. By bettering our community through service and the work that Leadership Texarkana is doing, we WILL make Texarkana, USA second to none!”
