The story of the BIOLA PRESS is unique. Like all of the work of our In stitu te, its development has been due to th e signal blessing of God upon the choice of men in charge of departm ent work. In th e choice of Mr. A lbert Haver- male we were led definitely of th e Lord. Years of experience in every phase of the prin ting business had qualified him for th e place of manager. F aith in Jesus Christ had fitted him for fellow ship in service w ith a Christian insti tution. He has never failed. Not only has he received th e highest commendation for his work in producing th e best of religious literatu re, but he ranks in the Association of P rin ters as one of th e best. We take pleasure in accord ing to him these words of well-merited appreciation, and giving our host of readers the privilege of looking into the face of our beloved associate in th e In stitu te life. The other outstanding reason for God’s favor upon our work was our agreement w ith th e Lord th a t all of
th e profits from the work of the' press should be devoted to the free distribu tion of Bibles, Testaments, trac ts and o ther Christian literatu re, and th is pledge we have maintained. Our great work in th e different departm ents has demanded ju st what God has so gra ciously bestowed upon us along this line. The press has outgrown its quarters in the basement of our Women’s Build ing, and is now quartered in the build ing pictured above. The location is close to the business section, about pix .blocks from our own work, w ith suffi cient ground for the building of homes for our married students w ith children, when God supplies th e means to meet th is need. At the opening of th e build ing, twenty-five of the leading proprie tors of th e p rinting establishments of the city were entertained for dinner, and gave testimony to th eir apprecia tion of th e character and equipment of the building. We covet the prayers of our K ing’s Business Fam ily in behalf of this p art of our work.
