Of course only one person can win this scholarship,— the person getting the largest number of sub scriptions. (2) Period Covered will be from January 1, 1923, to August 31, 1923. Subscriptions must be in The King’s Business office by the close of business on August 31, 1923, in order to be counted. (3 ) No Renewals will be counted, no premiums given, and no discount allowed—but every new subscription at the regular price of $1.00 will be credited as a vote for the person designated. (4 ) Every subscription must be plainly marked as a “Vote for J-------------- J-------------- in the Scholarship Contest’’ so that proper credit may be given in the King’s Business office. As soon as a name is entered, catalogue and application blank will be sent, the application to be filled out and sent in to the Institute immediately, and the applicant will be ad vised as to his or her acceptance at the earliest possible moment. AWARDS Three awards will be made: (1 ) A year’s scholarship in the Bible Institute of Los Angeles. This scholarship includes the cost of room and board for the school year, from September I 7th, 1923 until the last week in June, 1924, valued at approximately $350. There is, of course, no charge for tuition. (3 ) A library of books to the value of $20, to be selected from Biola publications. WHO MAY AVAIL THEMSELVES OF THIS OPPORTUNITY Any Individual, Young People’s Society, Sunday School, Mission ary Society or similiar organization. If an individual decides to enter the contest, he or she should at once make the fact known, using the telephone and postoffice to advise their friends that every new $1.00 subscription which reaches The King’s Business office before the close of business August 31, 1923, plainly marked as “Vote for J-------------- J-------------- in Scholarship Contest’* will be credited to the person thus indicated. If a Young People’s Society, or similiar organization, is interested in some worthy young person who desires to secure training for Christian work, the same general plan can be followed as in the case of an indi vidual contestant— such organization to notify The King’s Business office that they have nominated “J-------------- J--------------** as their candidate in the contest, members of the organization to use every effort to secure subscriptions for their candidate.
