What You Need to Know
PFAS is a large, diverse group of human-made chemicals used in various applications, including water- and stain-resistant textiles, nonstick cookware and food packaging. They are often referred to as “forever chemicals” because they are slow to degrade. What does that mean for DON ? With legislation differing from state to state, we are working hand in hand with our vendor community to monitor the legislation across the country. As laws go into effect we will ensure our sales teams know of this with plenty of time to inform their customers that we will no longer be allowed to offer product containing added PFAS.
