hindered by pain and can no longer do the same things that brought them joy. It may be that they can no longer socialize, participate in sports, care for their basic needs, or enjoy their favorite hobbies. Even more pressing, they may be unable to perform at their job anymore, leading to lost wages and sometimes even a necessary career change. The weight of the pain itself and feelings of depression, stress, and anger can be challenging to work through. Many of our clients who come to us are going through one of the most traumatic experiences they have ever had. Understandably, they often are at a point where they want to give up. When accident victims contact us, we start working to improve their lives. We immediately begin to build their case, gathering vital information so that we can fight for the recovery they genuinely deserve. Beyond learning as much detail about the situation as possible, we believe in open communication with our clients so we can learn about the hardships they are going through due to this incident. Our attorneys don’t back down, even though we sometimes feel discouraged or frustrated when assisting clients with a case. This only fuels us to keep fighting harder and staying resilient to help those who need us most. FROM SIDEWALKS TO SCHOOL BUSES YOUR ULTIMATE GUIDE TO BACK-TO-SCHOOL SAFETY

As the new school year kicks off, excitement fills the air as children return to the classroom. However, with the hustle and bustle of back-to-school season, it’s crucial to remember that safety should be a top priority. Whether it’s navigating the busy sidewalks, boarding the school bus, or participating in after-school activities, there are many chances for accidents and injuries to occur. Get your backpack ready as we explore three safety tips as kids return to the classroom.

and possibly tripping. Teach your children to always wait until the bus is completely stopped before walking toward it. Though not all school buses have seat belts, your child should wear them if they do. It’s also important to stay seated inside the bus until it arrives at its destination.

DRIVING SAFETY Parents and other drivers must be extra cautious in busy school zones to keep children safe. Always slow down in areas with schoolchildren and pay special attention to any children

WALKING SAFETY When school starts, your little ones will be walking a lot, and it’s essential to teach them how to get around safely. Children should walk to their bus with a parent or older sibling until they are at least 10. Young children may be unfamiliar with the traffic laws, so go over what different signs and lights mean with them and practice on their morning route before classes begin. SCHOOL BUS SAFETY Children should also practice and prepare for riding the school bus and being safe at the pick-up and drop-off locations. It’s best to arrive at the bus stop early to avoid running

crossing the street or getting dropped off. There will be more traffic than usual during the times of day when children are going to and leaving school, so be prepared for a busier commute. As the school year swings into full gear, let’s commit to prioritizing safety. By teaching our children how to navigate their daily routes, whether on foot, by bus, or in the car, we can significantly reduce the risk of accidents and injuries. Remember, a little preparation and vigilance go a long way in ensuring a secure and prosperous school year for all.

Exercises That Help You Lose More in Less Time

BURN CALORIES FASTER EXERCISES THAT HELP YOU LOSE MORE IN LESS TIME

In the quest for fitness efficiency, especially in today’s fast-paced world, many of us are looking for the most effective exercises to maximize calorie burn in the shortest time. Whether you’re squeezing a workout into a busy schedule or just aiming to maximize your gym time, here are five exercises that can help you torch calories quickly. HIGH-INTENSITY INTERVAL TRAINING (HIIT) High-Intensity Interval Training, or HIIT, is the best method for burning calories fast. It involves short bursts of intense exercise alternating with low-intensity recovery periods. For example, sprinting for 30 seconds followed by one minute of walking, repeated for 20–30 minutes, can do wonders. This method burns a high number of calories during the workout and elevates your metabolism for hours after you’ve finished. INDOOR CYCLING Spin classes or indoor cycling can be exhilarating ways to burn calories. Depending on the intensity of the workout and your body weight,

you can burn between 200 and 300 calories in just a 30-minute session. The key is to maintain a high intensity, utilizing both the bike’s resistance settings and the pace at which you pedal. RUNNING Simple yet effective, running is one of the most efficient ways to burn calories. The faster you run, the more calories you’ll burn per minute. Interval running, where you alternate between sprinting and jogging, can also be particularly effective for quick calorie burning. JUMPING ROPE Jump rope is not just a playground activity; it’s a high-intensity workout that burns about 10 calories per minute. It’s a fantastic cardiovascular workout that improves heart health and stamina. SWIMMING Swimming is a total-body workout that is both high-intensity and gentle on the body. It effectively burns calories (around 200–300

calories in 30 minutes) while also being low- impact, which is excellent for those looking to reduce stress on their joints. Incorporating these exercises into your fitness routine can significantly enhance your calorie- burning efficiency. Remember, the key to these workouts is intensity. The harder you push yourself, the more calories you’ll burn and the less time you’ll need to work out. Always ensure you balance high-intensity workouts with adequate rest and recovery, and consider having a fitness professional create a workout plan tailored to your personal health and fitness goals.
