Fast Facts About READ ● Reading Enrichment and Academic Deliverables (READ) is a state-funded book and literacy program designed to help support Louisiana preK4 through 5th grade students who are not yet reading on grade level. ● Eligible students who participate in the program will receive free books and literacy resources delivered directly to their homes. ● High-quality, age-appropriate books and engaging literacy resources are offered in both English and Spanish. ● Children and their families can select the topics of the books they would like to receive to better engage students in genres that interest them. Eligibility Requirements The READ program is available to Louisiana public school, including public charter school, students who are:
● In grades preK4 through 5th ● Not yet reading on grade level
