The Fight Continues: A Tribute to Two Remarkable Bailiffs Battling Cancer The Henry County Sheriff’s Office proudly recognizes the extraordinary courage and resilience of Bailiffs Terri Lofton and Dwayne Johnson, who are bravely battling cancer while continuing to serve our community with unwavering dedication and strength. Dwayne Johnson: A Legacy of Strength A native of Sandersville, Georgia, Mr. Johnson retired as a Warden for the Department of Corrections before joining the HCSO, where he has served with distinction for eleven (11) years. Despite undergoing cancer treatment, he continues to fulfill his duties without complaint, inspiring everyone around him with his quiet determination and steadfast commitment. Terri Lofton: A Shining Example of Positivity Ms. Lofton, originally from Florida, retired from Delta Airlines as a flight attendant before joining the HCSO. For the past four years, she has been a loyal and enthusiastic member of the team. Recently, Ms. Lofton reached a significant milestone in her journey—ringing the bell to mark a major victory in her fight against cancer. Her positivity and grace remain constant, uplifting all who have the pleasure of working with her. These two individuals embody the determination and strength that define the Henry County Sheriff’s Office. Their ability to persevere through such challenges, while continuing to serve with dedication and grace, is an inspiration to us all. As they continue their battles, let’s come together as an agency and a community to show our unwavering support. Whether it’s a word of encouragement or a simple acknowledgment, every gesture reminds them they are not alone in their journey.
