After high school, Thaddus's journey continued at St. Clair County Community College, where he dominated the court, averaging over 23 points and 4 assists per game as a sophomore. His success at the junior college level paved the way for a trans- fer to Fairmont State University, where he further honed his skills. At Fairmont State, he became a scoring machine, averaging 25.4 points per game as a senior and earning a place in the university's Hall of Fame. Despite going undrafted in the 2009 NBA draft, McFadden's resilience and talent took him over- seas, where he played for several European teams, including stints in the Czech Republic, Germany, Cyprus, and Spain. His time in Cyprus was partic- ularly successful, with McFadden winning three league championships and twice being named the league's Player of the Year. In addition to his club achievements, McFadden embraced his dual nationality by representing the Georgian national basketball team.
