BE ON THE LOOKOUT!
Every year, Medicare has an Annual Election Period (AEP) from Oct. 15 to Dec. 7. During this period, you can review your Part D prescription drug plan or Medicare Advantage plan to determine if another plan will provide a lower cost for your medications. If you select a new plan during this period, your new coverage will begin on January 1st. The Annual Election Period Is Coming Up

What Our Clients Think!
• •
Phone and virtual appointments Online enrollments through a website
• In-office appointments with a mask. We have disinfecting procedures in place.
We recommend that you review your options, especially if you have had a change in medications during the year or are considering using a different pharmacy. If you are satisfied with
your plans with no changes, we still encourage you to review them as the cost and coverage for your medications may change.
“You helped get me the best insurance at the best price. Thanks so much for your help.”

NEW DISCLAIMER REQUIREMENT The Center for Medicare & Medicare Services (CMS) has a new requirement for all communications beginning Oct. 1, 2022. We will be required to record all calls and retain all email/text communications.
“Your book offered the clearest and most complete information on Medicare that we had seen in our research. Then, you followed up with good research in-office for our particular needs. We couldn’t have done the plan comparisons that you did on our behalf because the nitty gritty information just isn’t available (or is very hard to find/ manage). Finally, you were friendly and accessible when we had questions and you were willing to “hold our hand” to make sure we were processing everything correctly as we joined Medicare for the first time. Thank you.”
We will also be required to say the following disclaimer for all calls in the first 60 seconds of every conversation. Please be patient with us during this time for us to satisfy this
requirement. As a result of this time-consuming requirement, we will make every effort to communicate via email to minimize the disruption during the open enrollment! “We do not offer every plan available in your area. Any information we provide is limited to those plans we do offer in your area. Please contact Medicare.gov or 1-800-MEDICARE to get information on all of your options.” The good news is that we review all plans available in your area. We do not represent all of them since we have reviewed all plans and have determined some carriers do not meet our quality standards to offer them to our clients.
