NEW MAJORS TO BE OFFERED AT BIOLA COLLEGE Seven new majors are being offered in the curriculum of Biola College this year, according to an announce­ ment made by Mr. G. Willis Toms, Registrar. More than 900 students are enrolled this year in the school, one of five affiliated training centers of the Bible Institute of Los Angeles, Incorporated. Subjects to be offered as majors in­ clude: Biological Science, Humanities, Language Arts, Non-professional Psy­ chology, Social Science, Speech, and Non-professional Music. In addition to these, Biola College also offers the following majors to students: Bible, Christian Education, Church Music, Secondary Music Education, Applied Music, English, History, Psychology. An Elementary Teaching Credential may also be obtained at Biola College. LISTENERS DELUGE DR. TALBOT W ITH SCORES OF CARDS In commemoration of his birthday, scores of listeners responded to a sug­ gestion on “The Bible Institute Hour” and sent cards to the beloved Chancel­ lor of Biola, Dr. Louis T. Talbot.

MYERS HALL IS DEDICATED As a memorial to their daughter, Nancy Nauman Myers, Dr. and Mrs. Ray A. Myers, and their family, have erected the new key structure of the Talbot Theological Seminary on the Biola Campus in La Mirada. My­ ers Hall will accomodate an enroll­ ment of 300. Six classrooms are lo­ cated downstairs, with others and fac­ ulty offices on the too level.

“We haven’t finished counting them,” his secretary declared. “As far as gifts are concerned, they totaled more than $2,000 for the training of Biola students.” BIOLA COLLEGE TO HOST LEADERSHIP SEM INAR The 75-acre Biola College Campus in La Mirada was the scene of the Southwest Baptist Conference’s lead­ ership training seminary November 17. Some 500 youth officers and church leaders from Southern Cali­ fornia’s General Conference Baptist Churches attended the one day semi­ nar program.
