Lot 16 — TJB Addiction was a standout in our 2023 bull sale, commanding a $9,000 final bid and heading to Nebraska to work the pastures at Deibler Gelbvieh. Before making that trip, we made the decision to collect semen—and we’re sure glad we did. From that limited sampling came two bull calves that immediately stood out, and Abercrombie rose to the top. With the ideal beef bull design—bold muscle expression, true body depth, and impeccable foot and leg structure—Abercrombie is exactly what today’s market demands. He’s been collected and will be used in our program this fall. To compliment his phenotype, he charts in the top 15% for WW and the top 10% for YW. We believe in building around proven cow families, and Abercrombie is stacked with them. TJB 921U, one of the most influential females in our program, appears on both the top and bottom of his pedigree. The impact of 921U can’t be overstated—she and her daughters, granddaughters, and great-granddaughters make up 42 of the 66 Anissa females in our 143-head cow inventory. His dam, 965G, is one of the very best females walking the pastures. She and 954G will be the predominent donors in our future. Buy herd sires from the best females in the breed, and she qualifies! Retaining 1/2 semen interest in Lot 16.
