Growing new capabilities for

Addressing asthma health disparities in Chicago

Font: Arial Narrow

Informed by interviews with families, community health workers, Emergency Department (ED) doctors and nurses, and primary care doctors, the CHICAGO Plan is a research study designed to test the effectiveness of Emergency Department and home-based interventions on patient and caregiver outcomes. CHICAGO II builds on these interventions to propose a plan that integrates asthma care across EDs, clinics, schools and homes in Chicago communities experiencing a higher burden of asthma.
